Faithful Baptist Church is a very UNIQUE church.
It is not at all like the others in Omak and Okanogan. We are an Independent, Fundamental, Bible Believing, King James Version, Missionary, Unaffiliated, Separated, Soulwinning, Spirit Filled Church. Please read the rest of this and see if this is the Church for you.

What's so UNIQUE about us anyways?
Preaching and teaching from only the King James Version Bible. It is the only error free English translation that is still in print today. It can totally be trusted as God's perfectly preserved Word for English speaking people. The myriad of other versions contain many gross errors dealing with the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, a literal hell, the blood atonement, and salvation without works, etc.
Having direct authority from Jesus Christ for our existance. The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus started only one kind of church, and that it would continue throughout all ages; one giving birth to another of like faith and practice. These churches never died out in the "dark ages", but were represented by such as the Donatists, Montanists, Waldenses, Albigenses, and the Anabaptists. Today, it is best represented by Fundamental, Inde-
pendent Baptist churches; and secondarily by many other Baptist churches. [The word "church" does not refer to all the saved (family of God), but to a properly commissioned assembly of born again, scripturally baptized members called out for the Lord's work.]
Remaining unchangeably Baptist in belief and in practice. We desire to be holy and separated just as the church was that Jesus Christ started. The Bible teaches that the "old paths" are the right paths. Most Christians seem to be looking for some-
thing "new" and exciting. "Casual" and "contemporary" are the buzz words today in churches. God does not change and neither do "His" churches.
Rejecting the "ecumenical movement" which seems to have engulfed most churches today.
We will not set aside doctrinal and ecclesiastical purity for the sake of just "getting along" with everybody else. We desire unity based solely on the Word of God. We are to be a "peculiar" people.
Rejecting the "Charasmatic movement". The Bible clearly teaches that the "sign" gifts have ceased (some 1900 years ago). These special gifts were given as a sign to the unbelieving Jews of that day and passed away when "that which is perfect" (completed revelation; Bible) "was come". Emotions and 'experi-
ence are not our guide; the Word of God is to be. We are Spirit filled believers worshipping the Lord in Spirit and in truth.
Focusing on fulfilling the Great Commission of the Gospel. We will champion the training of men and women in the service of the King. Fancy religous schools may be the norm, but we will train our future leaders as Jesus did: one by one through the local Baptist church.
This UNIQUE church is needed today
Climate of compromise and carelessness
There is an urgent need for churches that will stand firm as the "pillar and ground of the truth". It's easy to follow the current "trends" and "fads". It takes Holy Spirit conviction and courage to not be moved from the faith "once" delivered to the saints.
Worldly methods for church growth
The 'Great Commision' for each church is not to see how big and fancy they can get, but to win the lost, baptize them into the membership of the church, and train them in all the teachings of the Bible. Then they will be able to teach others likewise. This is God's simple model for successful church growth. When a church departs from this, so does the Lord. Most churches try worldly methods to achieve spiritual goals. This results in error and ruin.
Men trying to change the Word of God
Very few churches today can say that they have the Word of God in their hands that has absolutely no errors and can be trusted fully...equal to that of the 'originals'. We have this Bible. The devil is attacking the Word of God strongly and has watered down the truth and mixed in blatant lies. This is seen in all of the other versions of the Bible in our language. The King James Version has battled for the truth for al-most 400 years. Why teach the truth of God from anything else?!
Denominationalism is controlling religion
Protestant and Catholic theology teaches that all the saved make up the church. The word catholic means 'universal'. The Bible clearly teaches that the church is local, visible, and autonomous, not the whole family of God. Our unique church is not Protestant nor Catholic. It is not part of a denominational hierarchy. We are a simple old fashioned, bible-believing Baptist church, just like
Jesus Christ started.
